DIGEPRES AGREES WITH SENASA TO EXPAND HEALTH COVERAGE FOR EMPLOYEES WITH SUPPLEMENTARY PLANS

Santo DomingoWith the purpose of benefiting the collaborators of the General Directorate of Budget (DIGEPRES) affiliated with the Contributory Regime of the National Health Insurance (SeNaSa), both institutions signed an insurance contract that seeks to expand the basic coverage of medical services through the complementary and optional coverages offered by the State ARS.

The agreement was signed at the DIGEPRES facilities by the General Director of Budget, José Rijo Presbot, and Dr. Santiago Hazim, Executive Director of SeNaSa.

During the event, Rijo Presbot highlighted President Luis Abinader's interest in having all state employees registered with SeNaSa and urged the institution's officials and collaborators to enroll in the aforementioned state insurance.

"We have the largest network of hospitals and clinics, and the largest network of doctors nationwide. In addition, they will have a helping hand within SeNaSa so they know they are not alone and that they have a right, not a privilege," said Dr. Santiago Hazim, executive director of SeNaSa.

This health plan offers better benefits, including expanded coverage for employees and their families, while also supporting the strengthening of ARS SeNaSa, both authorities stated during the signing of the agreement.

This effort is also part of the actions being carried out by DIGEPRES to eliminate the international health insurance that its officials had in order to make management more efficient and inclusive, and to provide greater peace of mind to the DIGEPRES family in light of the health situation that the country is experiencing due to the coronavirus.

Complementary Plans

SeNaSa offers its members of the Contributory Regime the Complementary Plans at the lowest cost on the market, with the best coverage and regardless of age, which are: SeNaSa Special, SeNaSa Advanced, SeNaSa Maximum, SeNaSa Premium and Optional Services.

The main benefits offered by SeNaSa's Complementary Plans are that they have no age limits, unlimited services for hospitalizations and maternity, access to the Contributory Regime's Health Service Provider Network, and an additional Premium Network with other private clinics and medical centers available to anyone who purchases their plan.
