These Policies govern the use of the Internet Portal services https://www.digepres.gob.do, belonging to the General Directorate of Budget (DIGEPRES), a government agency created on April 10, 2013 under the direction of the Department of Information and Communication Technologies.

DIGEPRES is a government institution directly dependent on the Treasury, created through the Law No. 1363 dated July 30, 1937, residing at:
Avenida México corner of Leopoldo Navarro, Juan Pablo Duarte Government Office Building, 5th Floor, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

1. Conditions

1.1. Minors

To use services that require the collection of personal data through the portal, minors must have prior authorization from their parents, guardians or legal representatives, who will be responsible for the actions carried out by the minors in their care.

1.2. Proper Use of the Portal and Services

The User agrees to use the Portal and the Services in accordance with:

Current legislation.
These Privacy Policies.
Terms of Use and Specific Conditions of the Services.
Public order, morality and good customs.

The User shall not attempt to obtain content by means other than those officially provided, nor use procedures that may damage or disable the Portal.

2. Intellectual Property

2.1. Trademarks and distinctive signs

All trade names, trademarks, or distinctive signs present on the Portal are the property of DIGEPRES. Access to or use of the Portal does not grant any rights to them.

2.2. Contents

The content is the intellectual property of the Government Agency. The User may only:

View, copy and store the material on your computer or other physical media.
Print or reproduce it for personal, private or institutional use, always mentioning the ownership of DIGEPRES.

Any modification, alteration, commercialization, or reproduction is prohibited without prior written authorization. In the case of third-party content, their consent will be required for reproduction.

3. Exclusion of Warranties and Liabilities

3.1. Availability and continuity

DIGEPRES does not guarantee uninterrupted operation of the Portal or its services. In the event of reasonably foreseeable interruptions, advance notice will be given.

3.2. Privacy and security

There is no guarantee that unauthorized third parties will not be able to learn the terms or characteristics of the User's use of the Portal. Nor is there any guarantee that the content is free of viruses or harmful elements.

3.3. Truthfulness and timeliness

DIGEPRES is not responsible for any damages arising from the lack of truthfulness, accuracy or timeliness of the content.

3.4. Third-party services

The legality, reliability, or usefulness of services provided by third parties through the Portal is not guaranteed. DIGEPRES disclaims all liability for damages caused by such services.

4. Procedure in Case of Illicit Activities

If a User believes that there is illegal activity on the Portal, they must notify DIGEPRES, including:

Claimant's personal data: name, ID or passport number, address, telephone and email address.
Description of the alleged illegal activity or violation of rights, indicating the location on the web.
Facts that demonstrate the illicit nature of the activity.
Handwritten signature or equivalent of the rights holder or their representative.
Express declaration that the information provided is accurate and truthful.
