Government deposits funds with JCE for political parties and the presidential and congressional elections of July 5

The General Directorate of Budget (DIGEPRES) of the Ministry of Finance informs the public that, once the Supplementary Budget Law was enacted, an amount of 1 billion pesos was immediately made available to the Central Electoral Board (JCE) to be delivered to the political parties.

In that same order, it is noted that 1,870.2 million pesos have already been credited to the electoral body's account, corresponding to the budget for holding the elections scheduled for July 5.

In addition, an additional 2 billion pesos have been allocated for the holding of a possible second round of the presidential elections on July 26.
