Se trata de un programa de educaci\u00f3n presupuestaria dirigido a j\u00f3venes de secundaria y universitarios para impulsar la participaci\u00f3n de los estudiantes en el ciclo presupuestario, as\u00ed como dar conocer las herramientas ciudadanas para dar seguimiento al PGE.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mata Palacio, Hato Mayor<\/strong> \u2013 La General Budget Directorate<\/a> (Digepres)<\/a> dej\u00f3 formalmente iniciado el programa \u201cPresupuesto en las Aulas\u201d con una primera actividad en la Escuela Santa Mar\u00eda del Batey, en el distrito municipal Mata Palacio, de la provincia Hato Mayor. \u201cPresupuesto en las Aulas\u201d forma parte de la estrategia institucional orientada a consolidar una gesti\u00f3n presupuestaria abierta, cercana y pedag\u00f3gica, alineada con los principios de buen gobierno, el derecho a saber y la participaci\u00f3n social.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La primera entrega de \u201cPresupuesto en las Aulas\u201d estuvo encabezada por el director general de Presupuesto, Jos\u00e9 Rijo Presbot, quien comparti\u00f3 con los estudiantes una presentaci\u00f3n titulada \u201cComprendiendo y participando del Presupuesto\u201d<\/em>, centrada en explicar los principales componentes del Presupuesto General del Estado 2026 con enfoque directo en su impacto en el desarrollo nacional y en la provincia Hato Mayor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Rijo<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Durante su intervenci\u00f3n, Rijo Presbot destac\u00f3 la importancia de que las nuevas generaciones conozcan c\u00f3mo se formula, aprueba y ejecuta el Presupuesto General del Estado, as\u00ed como el rol que desempe\u00f1an las instituciones p\u00fablicas en la administraci\u00f3n eficiente de los recursos. Asimismo, subray\u00f3 que la educaci\u00f3n presupuestaria constituye una herramienta clave para fortalecer la democracia y la rendici\u00f3n de cuentas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El director de Presupuesto motiv\u00f3 a los estudiantes a prepararse y fortalecer sus conocimientos como una base para superarse en la vida y les record\u00f3, como oriundo de Hato Mayor, que sali\u00f3 de las aulas de esa misma provincia para cursar la carrera universitaria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De otro lado, Rafael Jovine, director de Estudios Econ\u00f3micos y Seguimiento Financiero de Presupuesto, abord\u00f3 los temas referentes al gasto, las rigideces del gasto, clasificadores funcionales y el impacto del Presupuesto en la provincia Hato Mayor. As\u00ed mismo, explic\u00f3 de manera detallada cada una de las herramientas presupuestarias que la Digepres tiene a disposici\u00f3n de la ciudadan\u00eda para dar seguimiento y participar del Presupuesto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Rijo<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Paola Chaljub, encargada de Comunicaciones, ofreci\u00f3 detalles de la iniciativa \u201cPresupuesto en  las Aulas\u201d que tiene como objetivo acercar a los estudiantes de secundaria y nivel universitario al funcionamiento del Estado dominicano, promoviendo una cultura de transparencia, participaci\u00f3n ciudadana y comprensi\u00f3n responsable del uso de los recursos p\u00fablicos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sor Sandra Milena V\u00e9lez, directora del centro; Ana Mar\u00eda S\u00e1nchez, coordinadora t\u00e9cnica del centro polit\u00e9cnico y Jos\u00e9 Manuel Mesa, profesor docente, recibieron al equipo t\u00e9cnico de Presupuesto y agradecieron haber sido elegidos para el lanzamiento de \u201cPresupuesto en las Aulas\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La Escuela Santa Mar\u00eda del Batey cuenta con una matr\u00edcula de m\u00e1s de 400 estudiantes que asisten de Mata Palacio, Hato Mayor, Morquecho, Elupina Cordero, Yerbabuena y zonas aleda\u00f1as. La escuela, que imparte docencia desde nivel inicial, acoge en su polit\u00e9cnico a la primera promoci\u00f3n t\u00e9cnico profesional formada en Gesti\u00f3n Administrativa y Tributaria que se grad\u00faa este a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Presupuesto en las Aulas: m\u00e1s participaci\u00f3n de los j\u00f3venes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

El programa \u201cPresupuesto en las Aulas\u201d contempla la realizaci\u00f3n de charlas y jornadas formativas en centros educativos de distintas provincias del pa\u00eds, acompa\u00f1adas de materiales audiovisuales, presentaciones did\u00e1cticas y recursos digitales dise\u00f1ados para facilitar la comprensi\u00f3n de conceptos presupuestarios de manera clara y accesible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Con esta iniciativa, Presupuesto reafirma su compromiso con la transparencia gubernamental y la formaci\u00f3n c\u00edvica, apostando por una ciudadan\u00eda m\u00e1s informada, cr\u00edtica y participativa en los asuntos presupuestarios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a budget education program aimed at high school and university students to promote student participation in the budget cycle, as well as to familiarize them with the tools citizens use to monitor the General State Budget. Mata Palacio, Hato Mayor \u2013 The General Directorate of Budget (Digepres) formally launched the \u201cBudget in the Classroom\u201d program with its first activity at the Santa Mar\u00eda del Batey School in the Mata Palacio municipal district of Hato Mayor province. \u201cBudget in the Classroom\u201d is part of the institutional strategy aimed at consolidating open, accessible, and educational budget management, aligned with the principles of good governance, the right to know, and social participation. The first installment of \u201cBudget in the Classroom\u201d was led by the Director General of the Budget, Jos\u00e9 Rijo Presbot, who shared a presentation with students entitled \u201cUnderstanding and Participating in the Budget.\u201d The presentation focused on explaining the main components of the 2026 General State Budget, with a direct emphasis on its impact on national development and on the province of Hato Mayor. During his presentation, Rijo Presbot stressed the importance of new generations understanding how the General State Budget is formulated, approved, and executed, as well as the role that public institutions play in the efficient management of resources. He also emphasized that budget education is a key tool for strengthening democracy and accountability. The Director of the Budget encouraged the students to prepare themselves and strengthen their knowledge as a foundation for success in life and reminded them, as a native of Hato Mayor, that he himself had left the classrooms of that same province to pursue his university studies. On the other hand, Rafael Jovine, Director of Economic Studies and Financial Monitoring for the Budget Office, addressed topics related to spending, spending rigidities, functional classifications, and the impact of the Budget on the province of Hato Mayor. He also explained in detail each of the budgetary tools that the Budget Office (Digepres) makes available to the public to monitor and participate in the Budget process.
