The General Directorate of Budget (DIGEPRES)<\/a>, como parte de su compromiso con la transparencia y la participaci\u00f3n ciudadana, socializ\u00f3 el conjunto de herramientas presupuestarias con las que cuenta para visibilizar el presupuesto p\u00fablico en el marco de la co-creaci\u00f3n del VI Plan de Acci\u00f3n de la Rep\u00fablica Dominicana ante la Alianza para el Gobierno Abierto (OGP) 2024-2028, que impulsa la Direcci\u00f3n General\u00a0de \u00c9tica e Integridad Gubernamental\u00a0(DIGEIG)<\/a>, para fortalecer la colaboraci\u00f3n entre el gobierno y la sociedad civil y promover una gesti\u00f3n p\u00fablica m\u00e1s abierta, inclusiva y eficiente.\"DIGEPRES<\/p>\n

Durante la actividad, Rafael Jovine, director de Estudios Econ\u00f3micos y Seguimiento Financiero de Digepres<\/a>, present\u00f3 las herramientas presupuestarias dise\u00f1adas para mejorar la transparencia y la participaci\u00f3n ciudadana en la elaboraci\u00f3n, ejecuci\u00f3n y seguimiento del presupuesto.<\/p>\n

\u201cLo que presentamos hoy forma parte del kit de herramientas esenciales para garantizar que el proceso presupuestario sea m\u00e1s accesible y comprensible para la ciudadan\u00eda, permitiendo as\u00ed una mayor fiscalizaci\u00f3n y colaboraci\u00f3n en la toma de decisiones p\u00fablicas\u201d<\/em>, manifest\u00f3 Jovine en su presentaci\u00f3n.\"DIGEPRES<\/p>\n

La socializaci\u00f3n del kit de herramientas presupuestarias se enmarc\u00f3 en las acciones desarrolladas en la Alianza para el Gobierno Abierto, una plataforma internacional que promueve la adopci\u00f3n de pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas centradas en la apertura gubernamental, la rendici\u00f3n de cuentas y la participaci\u00f3n ciudadana. El VI Plan de Acci\u00f3n 2024-2028 reafirma el compromiso de la Rep\u00fablica Dominicana con estos principios, incorporando propuestas que buscan transformar la gesti\u00f3n p\u00fablica y fortalecer la confianza ciudadana en las instituciones.<\/p>\n

Con la visibilidad de estas herramientas, DIGEPRES<\/a> ratifica sus esfuerzos para fomentar una cultura de apertura y transparencia en la gesti\u00f3n de los recursos p\u00fablicos y de seguir impulsando mecanismos que promuevan la participaci\u00f3n de la ciudadan\u00eda en los procesos presupuestarios. Las palabras de apertura del evento estuvieron a cargo de Berenice Barinas, directora ejecutiva de la Direcci\u00f3n General\u00a0de \u00c9tica e Integridad Gubernamental\u00a0(DIGEIG)<\/a>, en representaci\u00f3n de la doctora Milagros Ort\u00edz Bosch, titular de la entidad, quien al dirigirse a los presentes destac\u00f3 que con el encuentro buscan promover nuevos y mejores espacios para el di\u00e1logo con la sociedad.<\/p>\n

Asimismo, la directora de Transparencia y Gobierno Abierto de la DIGEIG<\/a>, Elizabet D\u00edaz, explic\u00f3 la importancia de la Alianza para el Gobierno Abierto, plataforma internacional que promueve la adopci\u00f3n de pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas centradas en la apertura gubernamental, la rendici\u00f3n de cuentas y la participaci\u00f3n ciudadana, incorporando, adem\u00e1s, propuestas que buscan transformar la gesti\u00f3n p\u00fablica y fortalecer la confianza ciudadana en las instituciones. La iniciativa se inscribe, dentro del Foro Multiactor para el Gobierno Abierto de la Rep\u00fablica Dominicana, espacio de di\u00e1logo y colaboraci\u00f3n permanente entre el Gobierno dominicano, la sociedad civil y otros actores no gubernamentales.<\/p>\n

La actividad cont\u00f3 con la participaci\u00f3n de representantes de la sociedad civil, organizaciones no gubernamentales, y distintos actores vinculados a temas del \u00e1mbito de la salud, medioambiente, servicios p\u00fablicos, participaci\u00f3n ciudadana, educaci\u00f3n, ciudadan\u00eda, brecha digital, justicia, transparencia y datos abiertos y grupos vulnerables, quienes pudieron conocer de primera mano las iniciativas y avances en materia de presupuesto abierto. Los asistentes destacaron la importancia de estas acciones como un paso fundamental hacia la consolidaci\u00f3n de un gobierno m\u00e1s transparente y participativo.<\/p>\n

The opening remarks of the event were delivered by Berenice Barinas, Executive Director of the General Directorate of Ethics and Governmental Integrity (DIGEIG), representing Dr. Milagros Ortiz Bosch, head of the agency. In addressing the attendees, she emphasized that the meeting aimed to promote new and improved spaces for dialogue with society.
