In our government, transparency is not optional; we must be transparent.\u201d<\/em>Rijo Presbot told the workshop participants.<\/p>\n<p>In this line of thought, Rijo Presbot indicated that they also seek to ensure that the resources received by local governments are monitored and well distributed, and that they enter into a process of decentralization and deconcentration so that they execute certain programs in the provinces and not from the central agency.<\/p>\n<p>For her part, \u00c1ngela Altagracia J\u00e1quez Rodr\u00edguez, Vice Minister of the Vice Ministry of Preventive Security in Provincial Governments, spoke about the importance of provincial governments due to their proximity to citizens.<em>These entities must be strengthened, demonstrate their ability to manage online, and adapt to the new needs required by the Government.\u201d<\/em>J\u00e1quez emphasized.<\/p>\n<p>Lidia Castillo, head of the General Budget Services department, who was part of the event coordination, invited the participants to take ownership of the topic and thanked the Ministry of the Interior and Police for its support in this educational process.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_33975\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-33975\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-33975 size-medium\" title=\"Angela Altagracia Jaquez Rodriguez\" src=\"https:\/\/www.digepres.gob.do\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/WhatsApp-Image-2023-12-13-at-16.47.46-300x200.jpeg\" alt=\"\u00c1ngela Altagracia J\u00e1quez Rodr\u00edguez explica\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-33975\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Angela Altagracia Jaquez Rodriguez<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The activity was carried out in the Juan Bosch Budget Hall with the presence of 73 public servants linked to the work of 31 <em>Provincial Governments,<\/em> and Budget technicians such as Mar\u00eda Victoria Ortiz, head of the Standards and Methodologies department; Patricia Perdomo, head of the Ministry of Defense Division; Violeta Hern\u00e1ndez, from the Ministry of the Interior and Police; Gilma Ogando Lewis Rosa and Liomar Jon, Budget analysts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Multi-Year Results-Oriented Budget Project with Dynamic Modality<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It is recalled that the General Directorate of Budget presented to various authorities the main characteristics and attributes of the new Multi-Year Budget Project Oriented to Results with Dynamic Modality, as part of the actions that promote strengthening the efficiency and quality in the management of public resources through the elaboration of a conceptual, functional model and the technological development for the new Dominican budgetary system, incorporating multi-yearity and dynamic attributes throughout the budget cycle.\t\t<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>La actividad busc\u00f3 visibilizar la importancia, protocolos y herramientas de la presupuestaci\u00f3n en l\u00ednea de las gobernaciones para mejorar su rendici\u00f3n de cuentas La Direcci\u00f3n General de Presupuesto, a trav\u00e9s del departamento de Servicios Generales, imparti\u00f3 el taller Pautas para la Ejecuci\u00f3n en L\u00ednea 2024 de las Gobernaciones Provinciales, con el objetivo de promover protocolos y herramientas para ejecutar en l\u00ednea procedimientos presupuestarios. Las palabras de bienvenida estuvieron a cargo de Jos\u00e9 Rijo Presbot, quien agradeci\u00f3 a los presentes su participaci\u00f3n y explic\u00f3 el inter\u00e9s del presidente Luis Abinader que instruy\u00f3 que todas las unidades ejecutoras ten\u00edan que transparentar sus recursos a trav\u00e9s del Sistema de Informaci\u00f3n de la Gesti\u00f3n Financiera (SIGEF). \u201cEjecutar en l\u00ednea es una prioridad de esta gesti\u00f3n, porque permite a las instituciones p\u00fablicas planificar, formular y evaluar c\u00f3mo los recursos est\u00e1n siendo utilizados, para mejorar su rendici\u00f3n de cuentas. En nuestro Gobierno no hay una opci\u00f3n de transparencia, tenemos que ser transparentes\u201d, manifest\u00f3 Rijo Presbot a los participantes del taller. En este orden de ideas, Rijo Presbot indic\u00f3 que buscan tambi\u00e9n que los recursos que reciben los gobiernos locales sean monitoreados y bien distribuidos y, adem\u00e1s, entren a un proceso de descentralizaci\u00f3n y desconcentraci\u00f3n para que ejecuten determinados programas de las provincias y no desde el organismo central. De su lado, \u00c1ngela Altagracia J\u00e1quez Rodr\u00edguez, viceministra del Viceministerio de Seguridad Preventiva en los Gobiernos Provinciales, habl\u00f3 de la importancia de las gobernaciones provinciales por su cercan\u00eda con los ciudadanos. \u201cEstas entidades deben ser fortalecidas, demostrar que son capaces de gestionar en l\u00ednea y adaptarse a las nuevas necesidades requeridas por el Gobierno\u201d, destac\u00f3 J\u00e1quez. Lidia Castillo, encargada del departamento de Servicios Generales de Presupuesto, quien form\u00f3 parte de la coordinaci\u00f3n del evento, invit\u00f3 a los participantes a empoderarse del tema y agradeci\u00f3 al Ministerio de Interior y Polic\u00eda por su apoyo en dicho proceso educativo.
