The General Directorate of Budget (Digepres)<\/a> He held a Citizen Meeting aimed at the Association of Immersion English Teachers (APII) to share with the group basic aspects related to the cycle and stages under which the General State Budget is formulated.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The opening remarks were delivered by Mr. Iv\u00e1n Ram\u00edrez, Deputy Director General of Budget, who thanked those present for their attendance and interest, while explaining the institutional work and how the governing body regulates, directs and manages the Dominican Budgetary System in a transparent manner.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Ram\u00edrez also highlighted the importance of citizenship in public administration, considering it both a duty and a right.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>\u201cWith this meeting we aim to enable organized social groups to understand the budget cycle and thereby improve their influence, participation and capacity to propose solutions in the public budget.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/span>the deputy director indicated.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

For his part, V\u00edctor Fr\u00edas, president of the Association of Immersion English Teachers, thanked them for the invitation and spoke in general terms about the educational group, explaining its origins, objectives, structure, achievements and actions to be developed in the future.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"DigepresBasic aspects for understanding the budget cycle<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

With the purpose of sharing the stages of the budget cycle with the Association of Immersion English Teachers, the presentation was held on<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Public budget as an instrument of public policy<\/span><\/i><\/span>, led by Dayana Crespo, specialist in quality and evaluation of budget management; Mar\u00eda Victoria Ortiz, head of the Standards and Methodologies department and Ana Miguelina Terrero, head of the Budget Performance Evaluation department.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"Digepres<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The presentation addressed the process carried out by the Government to organize in different stages the planning, execution and control of public resources in a given period and the laws for the approval, execution and evaluation of the Budget each year.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The event was also attended by technicians from different areas of Digepres<\/a>The meeting was held in the Juan Bosch Hall of the Budget Department, attended by teachers from the association and modern language students.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

El Encuentro Ciudadano sirvi\u00f3 para dar a conocer aspectos b\u00e1sicos sobre las etapas del ciclo presupuestario como herramienta que promueve la transparencia, la participaci\u00f3n y el control social \u00a0 La Direcci\u00f3n General de Presupuesto (Digepres) realiz\u00f3 un Encuentro Ciudadano dirigido a la Asociaci\u00f3n de Profesores de Ingl\u00e9s de Inmersi\u00f3n (APII) para compartir con el gremio aspectos b\u00e1sicos relativos al ciclo y las etapas bajo las cuales se formula el Presupuesto General del Estado. Las palabras de apertura estuvieron a cargo del se\u00f1or Iv\u00e1n Ram\u00edrez, subdirector general de Presupuesto, quien agradeci\u00f3 a los presentes la asistencia y el inter\u00e9s, al tiempo de explicar el quehacer institucional y c\u00f3mo el \u00f3rgano rector regula, dirige y gestiona de forma transparente el Sistema Presupuestario dominicano. \u00a0 Ram\u00edrez destac\u00f3, adem\u00e1s, la importancia de la ciudadan\u00eda en la gesti\u00f3n p\u00fablica consider\u00e1ndolo como un deber y un derecho.\u00a0\u201cCon este encuentro buscamos que grupos sociales organizados puedan conocer el ciclo presupuestario y con ello, mejorar la incidencia, participaci\u00f3n y la capacidad propositiva en el presupuesto p\u00fablico\u201d, indic\u00f3 el subdirector. De su lado, V\u00edctor Fr\u00edas, presidente de la Asociaci\u00f3n de Profesores de Ingl\u00e9s de Inmersi\u00f3n, agradeci\u00f3 la invitaci\u00f3n y habl\u00f3 en l\u00edneas generales de la agrupaci\u00f3n educativa explicando or\u00edgenes, objetivos, estructura, logros y acciones a desarrollar a futuro. \u00a0 Aspectos b\u00e1sicos para comprender el ciclo presupuestario Con el prop\u00f3sito de socializar las etapas del ciclo presupuestario con la Asociaci\u00f3n de Profesores de Ingl\u00e9s de Inmersi\u00f3n fue realizada la ponencia el\u00a0Presupuesto p\u00fablico como instrumento de pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas, a cargo de Dayana Crespo, especialista de calidad y evaluaci\u00f3n de la gesti\u00f3n presupuestaria; Mar\u00eda Victoria Ortiz, encargada del departamento de Normas y Metodolog\u00edas y Ana Miguelina Terrero, encargada del departamento de Evaluaci\u00f3n del Desempe\u00f1o Presupuestario. La presentaci\u00f3n abord\u00f3 el proceso que lleva a cabo el Gobierno para organizar en distintas etapas la planificaci\u00f3n, el ejercicio y control de los recursos p\u00fablicos en un determinado periodo y las leyes para que sea aprobado, ejecutado y evaluado el Presupuesto cada a\u00f1o. Al evento se dieron cita, adem\u00e1s, t\u00e9cnicos de diferentes \u00e1reas de Digepres, profesores de la asociaci\u00f3n y estudiantes de lenguas modernas. El encuentro fue realizado en el Sal\u00f3n Juan Bosch de Presupuesto.
